Is there gifts of the unknown

For somtime now I have been debating with other christians that there are gifts from god that might envolve physic readings. Now I am not saying I am correct or wrong. I just beleave that there are to many "gifts" in this world that aren't considered gifts but a curse of satin. So where does this leave us, there many cultures in this world, even among christians. How do we really know whats from god and not somtimes. There are things that I know it is a gift but another person knows its a curse. So how do we settle and comprimise (excuse spelling). When is witch craft really witch craft, and when is gifts of the mind really gifts of the mind. Is it so bad when some one could have telekenisis, or physic readings among others. It states that the apostles had gifts to, could be that those gifts were given to the many and not just the few. Or were they given to us for a reason in life.
